The opening ceremony of the “National Dishes of the Khorezm Khans” gastrofestival took place at the “Arda Khiva” complex in the city of Khiva.

At the event, Deputy Governor of Khorezm region Botir Ozodovich Saidov delivered remarks, followed by speeches from the international experts of the Chefs Association — Alzaben Amjad Mustafa and Umaraliyev Tolibjon Quchqoraliyevich.

More than 20 renowned chefs from various regions of Uzbekistan took part in the festival, preparing over 50 types of national, European and Asian dishes!

The festival aims to enhance the tourism potential of the region, promote national cuisine, and introduce guests to the rich cultural heritage of Khorezm.

Throughout the event, traditional dances and musical performances created an unforgettable atmosphere for visitors. The festival contributes not only to the development of gastronomic tourism, but also to the wider promotion of ancient customs and the deep-rooted hospitality traditions of the Uzbek people.
