History
In order to further preserve and popularize the national cuisine of Uzbekistan, train international-class chefs, support public initiatives for the development of public catering organizations, introduce international service standards into them, organize, in accordance with modern requirements, a system for improving the professional level of cooks, culinary specialists, confectioners, waiters and others specialties in the field of public catering, the Cabinet of Ministers decided:
- 1. Support the proposal of business entities and non-governmental non-profit organizations in the field of public catering and hotel management, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the establishment of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the Association).
- 2. Take note that:
- a) The Association is created at the founding meeting by legal entities operating in the field of public catering and hotel management;
- b) in the future, members of the Association may become legal entities that share the goals and objectives of the Association and carry out their activities in the field of public catering and hotel management, production of equipment, products and means for the food industry, as well as food products;
Based on the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 10, 2012 No. 289 “On measures to further improve the activities of public catering enterprises and improve the professional level of its employees”, the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan was reorganized.
