The team of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan won prizes at the International Culinary Championship Gastro Antaliya 2022

The team of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan took part in the International Culinary Championship Gastro Antalya 2022, which was held in Turkey (Antalya) from November 17 to 20 this year.

 The composition of the team from the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan:

- Akbar Umarov - member of the jury;

- Mirbabaev Elerbek - mentor;

- Ibragimov Shokhruzkhon - participant.

The culinary championship Gastro Antalya 2022 was attended by chefs from around the world, as well as world-class judges from different parts of the world, such as: Israel, Italy, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Germany, Russia, Dagestan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Spain, Turkey and many others.

In 2021, Gastro Antalya, which was held with a limited number of participants due to the pandemic, became the largest and most prestigious competition in Turkey, with over 600 participants from 32 countries.

 

The team of the Association of Chefs of Uzbekistan, following the results of all 4 days, took 4 medals and the Golden Chef of the Year cup.

Namely:

• Ibragimov Shokhruzhon - 1st place (gold medal) in the nomination "Fish dish" and 2nd place (silver medal) in the nomination "Modern cuisine - meat dish";

• Elerbek Mirbabayev - 1st place (gold medal) in the Golden Chef of the Year nomination and 2nd place (silver medal) in the Pasta nomination.
