On April 4, a large festival was held at Alfraganus University as part of the nationwide celebration of Navruz!
The event, organized under the motto “Traditions, customs, heritage, and youth,” featured unique competitions in national cuisine and culinary arts:
– “Plov Competition: a battle of taste, design, and creativity”
– “Kabob Master” — contest for preparing the best kabob
– “Who makes the best Uzbek somsa?”
– “Carve the Beauty” — fruit and vegetable carving art contest
Members of the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan — T. Umaraliyev, A. Adilov, and A. Ruziboyev — participated as judges, ensuring fair and professional evaluation.
The festival helped deepen young people’s appreciation of our national values and strengthened friendship and unity.
