The team from Uzbekistan is proud to announce their superb achievement of reaching the semi-finals of the International Young Chefs Olympiad

From January 28 to February 5, the most magnificent culinary event of the year, Young Chefs Olympiad, unfolded in India. It brought together the brightest of the culinary world, experienced mentors and young talents from over 60 countries.

The first phase of the Olympiad traveled through different parts of India, from Delhi to Goa, uniting 10 countries in a competition for culinary glory.

The Uzbekistan Chefs Association team - Alina Al-Zaben (participant) and Ahmad Hamdamov (mentor) - went through this testing phase and deservedly entered the semi-finalists of the Olympiad and won in the category and took away the Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea Rising star award - a special award given to a participant who has demonstrated outstanding personal qualities and skills during the competition.

Ahmad Hamdamov is the youngest mentor among 60 countries of the world.

The participants of the Olympiad demonstrated not only their culinary talent, but also years of hard work and preparation aimed at one goal - to win.
