BRITISH CHEF CONFECTIONER HELD THE “WESTERN EUROPEAN PASTRY” MASTER-CLASS FROM 19th TO 23rd OF MAY 2014

From 19-23 May, 2014 was held the "Western European pastry" master class by the chef of the confectioner from Great Britain Graham John Edwards under the WACS program "Train-the-Trainer".

The World Association of Chefs Societies  is a nonprofit organization of professionals whose goal is to preserve and improve the culinary standards of world cuisine. The fulfillment of this mission carries out through training, practical training and professional growth of WACS members around the world. Being recognized as an authoritative leader in the field of catering, WACS represents the general opinion on all issues related to the profession of cook and confectioner.

Confectioners of famous restaurants in Tashkent and just lovers of cooking and pleasing everyone with the best desserts - the participants of the master classes had an opportunity to learn the subtleties of cooking classic desserts of Western Europe in a new modern filing.

The main goal of the master class from the chief confectioner of WACS Graham John Edwards, is focusing on improving the skills of specialists, and exchange of experience and cadres in the future.

  

The first day was the familiarization with the group and the work of Mr.Graham John Edward and was cooked 3 desserts such as: fruit cake with custard, chocolate cake and lemon cake.

  

On the second day, the chief confectioner showed the preparation of a traditional French puff pastry from which the pupils, along with the master, prepared about eight varieties of desserts.

  

On the third day the chief teached the preparation of the traditional wedding dessert Crokembush and also showed several desserts from the brewed dough.

On the fourth day, the confectioner opened a world of cold desserts for students, such as lemon and orange soufflé, strawberry and vanilla dessert, as well as cream caramel and creme brulee.

  

On the last day the students learned how to cook the most delicate biscuit. Participants prepared 2 kinds of biscuit, and also learned how to decorate desserts.

As a result of the course, was issued an international certificate from the World Association of Chef Societies  and the Association of Cooks of Uzbekistan.

The format of the master classes from the recognized chef of confectioner all over the world made it possible for many practicing confectioners not only to improve their skills, but also to communicate directly with the famous master of his craft.
